DNAngel is a fascinating story that follows around the 14 year old boy Daisuke Niwa. You see his family has been passing down a curse from generation to generation. Once the boys hit a certain age and there hearts are captivated by their first loves the secret dwelling within them is unleashed.

The Phantom Thief, Dark, is set free upon the unsuspecting world every time these poor boys feel the emotion of their love come overt hem. Once out the phantom thief is more than a handful. Dark is not only the best art thief the world has ever know but the heart of the young girls around him are at equal risk. The only way to be rid of him if for the current cursed Niwa to steal the heart of the girl they are in love with. That is to make her fall in love with him and before Dark can beat them to the punch.

While Dark may seem like nothing more than a cleaver thief there seems to be rhyme and reason to his work. Once stolen each piece of art's magical powers are sealed off before they can cause further harm. While for the Niwa's it seem like a case of Jekyll and Hyde; is Dark really the true villain or is it someone else.
