Yuki, otherwise known as "The Prince of Kaiwaia High". He is the most popular guy in the entire school because of his incredible good looks. In fact he is so popular that over half of the girls in the school are devoted members of the Prince Yuki fan club ran by possibly his biggest fans. But as cherished as he is by then the feelings are not mutual. While he is kind and courteous to all he never lets any girl get to close to him. Well that was until Tohru.

While he seems to have it all deep down he is very shy and quite insecure about himself. He never feels as if people would really like him if they had the opportunity to really get to know him. While he is possible the most kind hearted and gentle guy in school he somehow feels as if deep down he is the opposite. He thinks that everyone only likes him because of the way he acts to them and that he only acts that way to make them like him and that is what makes him selfish.

However if there was one person that could bring out the worst in the normally laid back Yuki its Kyo. Rivals since the day they were born it seems like the only thing they can do is argue and fight. It seems like since Yuki is the Fabled rat and Kyo is the fabled cat that they were fated to never get along. But somehow once Tohru gets into his life things begin to slowly change. He begins to feel more and more confident in himself. He is able to confide in her in a way that he has never done with anyone before. She seems to be exactly what he needs to heal the wounds of his past and look towards a brighter future.
