Edward Elric
Edward Elric is the legendary prodigy also known as the Fullmetal Alchemist. While he may be short in stature he more than makes up for it with skill. He is possible one of the best alchemists there is when you take in account how young he is. He was after all the youngest person to every become a state alchemist.
Though he was determined to become a state alchemist the last thing he ever really wanted was to become the militaries dog. He has reasons beyond what most boys his age could ever have to accomplish such a thing. He is determined to find and gain the philosophers stone and restore his brothers body back to the way it should be. After all Al is the only thing he has left.
On the search for the stone he runs into many obstacles. Whether he affects those around him for better or worse he always strives to do his best for both himself and those around him. But some things are better left unknown. Not all secrets of Alchemy are good ones.
