Cho Hakkai
Once a regular human man, Hakkai's story is brutal and tragic. He was a young man madly in love with a woman named Kanan. Of course at that time he went by the name of Cho Gonou Unfortunately Kanan was captured and taken to the demon Hyakugan Maoh while Gonou was away. This was a horrid rage for any woman as Hyakugan Maoh was well known for keeping and toying with beautiful women until he tired of them and would then eat them.
To try and save his beloved Kanan, Cho Gonou went on a rampage, murdering any demon that was in any way associated with those who had taken Kanan. To make the story even more tragic when he finally found Kanan to save her she took his very own dagger and killed herself. She explained to him that she had to. That she had Hyakugan Maoh's child already growing inside of her and she would not allow it to be born. Cho Gonou was forced to have to sit there and watch as she killed herself in her cell back to where he could do nothing to stop her.
As a result of his murder spree Cho Gonou became a demon himself. It had always been a legend that if you killed and were touched with the blood of 1000 demons than you yourself would become one. Because of this he has to now wear power limiters. They are the three ear cuffs he wears on his left ear.
