Homura
The current prince of war. Though he is a god his life has been anything but heavenly. Considered a heretic and an outcast from birth, because he was born from the union of a mortal and an immortal. He had been chained and locked up in a dark cell where he was forced to grow up in loneliness. Though he wasn't bitter while there. He simply didn't know any other life. He could be mad at anyone when there was never anyone there.
Sometime after he was grown the Jade emperor decided to free him. Once out, Homura found that life was just as lonely and as empty as it was in his cell. He was nothing more than an outcast to be frowned upon to them. However finally he did meet a girl who changed him forever. Her name was Rin Rei.
Their love was strictly forbidden because of his heretical existence. But in her he had found something to live for. For as long as he was alive he would not bring the one he loved pain. However when the gods found out about they set forth a punishment more severe that they could have ever imagined.
Rin Rei was to be reincarnated on earth, a feat possible because she was a true immortal. There she would live out a short life on earth as punishment for her loving Homura. Homura however was to remain in heaven to act as the new war god since the crowned war prince Nataku was unable to serve any longer. This all devastated Homura in a way that he could never forgive. One day the heavens would rue the day they treated anyone in such a way.
