Kougaiji
The son of the feared demon Gyumaoh and Rasetsunyo. After his father was defeated by the war prince Nataku, Kougaiji and his mother Rasetsunyo were sealed away in pillars. However he was freed by his fathers lover Gyokuman Koushu in order to try and resurrect his father once more.
While he has no liking of or desire to work for lady Koushu he is bound to do so anyway. To serve her is the only way he can get his mother back. This is something he would do absolutely anything to accomplish. If he doesn't do as lady Koushu says then he will likely never see his own mother again.
While he doesn't have to much to look forward to in his life he does have three bright spots. There is Lirin, his younger half-sister who is the daughter that lady Koushu had with lord Gyumaoh. While Lirin seems to get on his nerves from time to time there is nothing he wouldn't do to protect the girl. He also has the unwavering friendship and loyalty of Yaone and Dokugakuji, two demons that he took in under his wing that would do anything to repay him for his kindness.
