Yaone was on her way to be taken to the dreaded Hyakugan Maoh when Kougaiji found her. He knew that it would only be a matter of time before that demon grew bored with her and ate her. So to prevent such a thing from happening to her, Kougaiji lays claim to her so she can be his personal apothecary. This is a kindness she will never forget and longs to be able to repay. Because of this there is nothing she wouldn't do for Kougaiji.
