Ayumu Narumi
While Ayumu is a loner he is not what anyone would call typical. His sharp mind thrives on logic, reason and solving questions and problems that others would find to be too much to handle. The only puzzle he can't solve is what happened to his older brother.
Ayumu had always felt buried under his bothers, Kiyotaka, shadow. Everything Kiyotaka did was great and Ayumu always knew that no matter how hard he tried he could never be anything more than a cheap imitation. But once the blade children enter his life he if forced to face those feelings of inadequacy. If he does not learn to grow past them neither him nor the blade children have any hope of surviving.
