The STN-J protects humans from the threat that is spreading through the world. When witches control the power that installs fear into the minds of those around them these witch hunters are the only form of justice to be found. There job is to neutralize any threat and restore the calm back to the world around them.
What makes the STN-J so capable of defeating witches is the training and technology invested into the organization. Each member wears a special vile of orbo around there neck to help shield them from the powers that the witches project. Not only that but some of the members are unique in there ability to use the craft. These craft users are very valuable to the hunts but they are also watched very closely. There is a very fine line between a user of the craft and a witch.
The STN-J though has not had very good luck with its members lately though. However they are expecting a new member now after the loss on one of there own nearly six months ago. The thing is that they know nothing about this new person. The only thing they have to go on is the time she is supposed to arrive. But once she gets there everything begins to change and a new mystery arises. Things begin to happen that can't be explained and the hunters become the hunted.
