Hiei remains somewhat of a mystery as his origins and life remain mostly unknown. One thing is certain though, when it comes to talent and power he has more than his fair share. Hiei is a fire apparition who is not only a master with the sword but his speed and strength are astounding. Once he gets going he is a hard man to stop. But he has another trick up his sleeve. Underneath that bandana he normally wears lays the Jagan eye. This is a third eye that holds incredible powers. It grants him the ability to control weak minded humans, sense things going on elsewhere, move objects with his mind and more.

While he had been a most feared adversary Hiei has found a way to settle in fairly comfortable with the group he is now in. He still may not care much for humans or have a use for those who get in his way, but he does have his own code of honor. Those who help him and have earned his respect find that he is very loyal. There is nothing he would not do to help them once they have gained his friendship. He is a strong ally and a powerful enemy. All who cross his path remember him.
