How to Spot Bootleg/Pirated Playing/Trading/Collectors Cards
Yes we live in a sad day where these are pirated too. Again quality is a big key in checking for a real product along with copyright and licensing information. If you already have trading cards you can test the possible fake against them. See if they are made of the same material. See if they both look about the same quality in printing and colour. Make sure things are spelled correctly, from copyright info to names and information on the cards themselves. Some fakes will have misspellings or just plain out wroung info on them period especially when it comes to copyright and artist names. Of course unlicensed cards often skip out on the copyright info and may not look as well as a licensed one in the first place. But as always some places are very good at making them look as good as the real thing.
