Join the forum and work for it. We are always looking for more volunteers to add to the overall value of the site.
I don't see my favorite Anime/ Video game, Voice actor, Japanese band on the site. Why not?
Because staff haven't gotten around to it yet. If you wish you can make suggestions but the staff tend to create sections for things they have watched, liked or know about first. We know there is demand for nearly everything under the sun to varying degrees so there is no need to try and convince us that something is popular enough to list, we know it is. We just may not have had the time to get to it yet. Suggestions are more then welcome.

How often do you update?
The time varies but AF is updated as soon as new sections are ready and staff can get around to it. Current news is placed in the forums and are updated when the staff come across something new.
Under what settings is AF best viewed?
The site is now designed to work at 1024x768 or higher. Any and all current browsers should display fine.
Why do I see empty grey boxes on the sides?
Those boxes contain information that is executed by Javascript. If you can’t see anything written then you either are using a browser that does not support JavaScript OR you have Javascript disabled and need to turn it on in order to gain acess to the information contained in the grey boxes. There are other sections of the site that use Javascript to show information as well.
Can you host my site?
It is rare that the Anime Fountain opens up any sort of space for other websites. Reason being is that it cost money for us to be hosted and opperate and we can not afford to give out all our space for free. We do not take orders to host paid sites either.
Can I hotlink to your pictures?
The answer is no. In fact we have certain features enabled to make such things harder to do.

The first thing you will be asked is if you own the legal copyright or and exclusive license to display and distribute it. If you are the legal copyright holder we will be more then glad to remove any image that is yours or credit you accordingly if that is what you desire. We use many third party pictures here from various sources and we do have legal permission to display pictures in different sections. If you were overlooked then we are sorry. However if you have no claim to the picture other then you posted it somewhere or you say you scanned but you did not create or get legal rights to use it then we would like to point out that you do NOT have the legal rights to the picture and no rights to request its removal. We obey the copyright and license owners only.
What was used to make the site, as well as maintain it?
The site was written in simple notepad. For some features open-sourced programs have been modified to meet the AF’s needs and are in use. We are a big fan of free!
Can i post my original fiction in the fans corner?
The fans corner is only open to fan fiction stories and not original. Otherwise it wouldn’t be called fan fiction. For more answers on what is or isn’t allowed in the fans corner go into that section and read the policy.
Your information’s not correct! Are you going to fix it?
We would be more the happy to correct info if you are able to cite a good and reliable source. We have to be able to witness said source with our own eyes as well. Hearsay has no guarantee of being reliable enough to change our listed facts. So a copy of the original source materials that is readable is needed to change site info.
