The master of the Eternal Night, Walter reigns from sprawling castle in the center of a forest that is cloaked in perpetual darkness. Apparently he finds eternal life quite boring, so he enjoys luring mortals to his castle, using a loved one that he has kidnapped as bait, and watching them struggle to reach him. Being the sadist that he is, he doesn't allow hunters to just waltz into the castle and challenge him. No, they have to fight their way through five different areas of the castle and defeating the bosses that he has placed there. Only then will the seal on the door that leads to his area of the castle break, allowing the hunter entrance. So far, none have succeeded in defeating him.
In battle, Walter prefers to teleport around the room, using mostly magical attacks, such as summoning exploding fireballs, explosions from the floor that track Leon as he moves, and three homing missiles that will attempt to track Leon as well. He will also, if Leon is close enough, lower his shoulder and charge him, attempting to knock him down and across the room. His most powerful attack is when he summons an explosion that fills almost the entire room.
