Griffin
The oldest of Mundus' generals, Griffin is a large bird that goes into battle, fully aware of who he is facing. Despite this, he is determined to defeat Dante and clear the way to the human world for his master. His technique may be old and rusty, but he is confident of his victory. Though, like the Phantom, he has a habit of running when he starts to lose.
In battle, Griffin can summon red lightning in thin beams that can either close in on Dante parallel to the ground or fly at him from across the field. He can also dive bomb Dante, dropping dozens of red balls of lightning that may be difficult to dodge if one waits too long. Griffin also seems to enjoy running up to Dante and trying to peck him with his large beak.
