Mundus
2,000 years ago, on a freezing winter night on earth, Mundus was born in the deepest place on the Underworld. He grew to adulthood quickly, and soon attained his full powers. He then killed the former emperor and waged a war to unite all of the Underworld under his rule. He then decided that his next order of business would be takeover and domination of the human world, forever uniting the world of the light with the world of the dark. His plan would have succeeded were it not for the efforts of one of his own. Mundus fought and lost to Sparda and was then imprisoned in a seal for the next 2,000 years.
Once freed from his seal, Mundus immediately began to plan to takeover the human world once again. Though Sparda is long dead, Mundus is still very concerned with a certain half human, half demon son of Sparda. In battle, Mundus wields a variety of magical attacks, including: rains of meteors, throwing enormous rocks that must be dodged, raining lava, summoning fire dragons, and most devastating of all, a beam of light fired from his third eye that can easily cut Dante's life in half.
