Sabin Figaro
Figaro's missing prince, Sabin had been enraged at the death of his father, blaming the Empire for killing the former king. When he learned that people seemed to be more concerned with who was going to inherit the throne, he blew up at his brother and decided to leave. Understanding his brother's feelings, Edgar let him go. He later joins the party during a battle on Mt. Kolts.
For ten years, Sabin trained under the martial arts master, Duncan and lived in a small one room cabin north of the city of South Figaro. From there, he watched as the world began to fall under the control of the Empire. When he learned that his brother had been forced to sign a treaty with the Empire, he decided it was time to act and joined the Returners alongside his brother. Sabin is normally one of the calmest of the group, though he does occasionally tease his brother about his womanizing, and he is more protective than he'll ever admit of Gau, acting like a father figure of sorts towards the boy.
Sabin is a martial arts expert, and in battle, he likes to let his fists do the talking. He learns more skills as the game progresses, each one more powerful than before.
