Carl Johnson left his life in Los Santos 5 years ago to find a better life in Liberty city. This city is filled with Violence, theft, drugs and corruption. This is a place where nobody will help anyone out.

Call Johnson receives a urgent call for him to return home. His mother has been murdered. All of his family has fallen apart, and his friends have been torn apart as well.

Upon CJ’s return he runs into corrupt police officer Frank Tenpenny and his lackeys. These corrupt officials frame him for the homicide of a follow police officer. This forces CJ to journey across the state of San Andreas to save his family and friends. During this journey CJ will make new friends and loses others to betrayal.
